Description
An impressive red.Very deep black crimson colour with deep purple hue.Lifted nose with blackcurrant, spice and mulberry notes, followed by a touch of spicy oak.On the palate the mulberry, spice and blackcurrant flavours are quite evident, followed by an aniseed back palate.There is a hint of leafiness evident, but is more than acceptable and tends to be a ‘complexing’ factor rather than a detraction.Perfectly balanced tannins, followed by a very long blackcurrant spice aftertaste.
